Food Outlets

We know that you would love to explore Indian food when you come here and mess food can be quite boring at times. But do not worry coz we have various food outlets all over the campus where you can try a wide variety of food.

The institute area or insti consists of three snack outlets- Amul, HPMC and Nescafe. You can visit these between classes or work for a cup of tea/coffee or to grab a sandwich/burger. These are open all day but from 4 A.M. to 8 A.M. The fourth outlet in insti, Shiru Cafe, would be opening soon. Insti also has a Staff Cafeteria where proper meals are served. We also have a Cafe Coffee Day outlet in the campus which serves snacks and coffee at highly subsidized rates!

Masala Mix and Chaayos near Zanskar Hostel and Rajdhani opposite Aravali Hostel are the main food outlets in the campus where you can go for proper meals, beverages, snacks and sweets. You can get some delicious snacks at Chaayos and that too 24*7! Baqsa, just opposite Vindyanchal hostel, specializes in North-Indian food.

Right behind Chaayos is Rupsagar Bakery where you can get yummy cakes and pastries along with snacks like pizza and burger. Facing this bakery is Nirvaha Cafe which serves a good variety of Indian food including tandoori food! Tea Halt in Kumaon hostel is another great snack and tea place and is open till late at night.

There are also three Mother Dairy outlets in the campus- at Mehrauli gate, next to Tea Halt and next to Nilgiri hostel.

How AAIP is involved

Upon coming here, you would be allotted an advisor/mentor- a team member of Alumni Affairs and International Programmes(AAIP). You can seek help from him/her in any kind of problem ranging from basic amenities to difficulties in academics to language problems and what not. The problems are then looked upon by the AAIP team which is chaired by Dean AAIP and we try to find the best possible solution to the problems. We encourage you not to hesitate in sharing your problems with your mentors and develop a healthy relationship with them. We work towards making your experience to be as memorable and fantastic as it possibly can be.
